THE WOODBURN, ARTIST IMPRESSION.
Paul Hameister OAM
Founder and Executive Chairman, Hamton.
“Scotch Hill Gardens is built on the philosophy of nature-based excellence and wellness. It’s an ambitious project, but we believe it’s the right thing to do, to set a new standard.
The belief that everything is interconnected is at the heart of our approach, and we see this interconnection as crucial to overall wellbeing, both mentally and spiritually. What we aim to achieve with Scotch Hill Gardens is an environment where people aren’t just reminded of their relationship with nature but are given the chance to fully immerse themselves in it, as part of their everyday experience.
We believe creating immersive spaces which restore and protect nature is vital, not just for the environment but for people’s health and wellness. Hawthorn is celebrated for its leafy streets, yet we’ve seen significant tree loss in the area and all other inner suburbs. As we develop Scotch Hill Gardens, we feel a deep responsibility to restore and safeguard the tree canopy, helping to rebuild critical emotional and physical connections to nature while enhancing the suburb’s natural beauty and charm.”
